Halloween 2018: Anna from Frozen and Bellatrix

Will you look at my amazing and beautiful daughter? She made this costume herself! She just turned seventeen a few days ago, and she's got a lot more skill than I had at that age, for sure.

I'm incredibly proud of her and can't wait to see what she does with this next trip around the sun.

I used to be afraid of parenting teens, but I have to say it might be my favorite age of all.

Halloween is my favorite holiday, but it has been a while since I've gone all out and made a costume for myself.  Normally I'm busy with the children's costumes every October, but Jillian seems to have taken that over (and I'll gladly let her).

So, since I had the time I decided to let my inner Slytherin out to play and I was Bellatrix LeStrange for Halloween.

It's the first time I've gone all out with dressing up in a long time and it was so much fun! I am definitely doing this again sometime.

Look, I know I'm no Helena Bonham Carter, but this was so much fun and one of our best family Halloweens. I'm already looking forward to next year!

Please note that we purchased all of the supplies, materials, and patterns to make these costumes. This post is not sponsored or gifted. Thank you!
